ToonSquid 2.0.16 introduces several highly requested workflow improvements!

In-Context Symbol Editing#

The editor will now show the context of a symbol layer in the background when editing a symbol's animation clip.

Keyframe Splitting#

When splitting drawings, the keyframe offsets of all drawing layers are now updated to retain their previous timing rather than just being duplicated.

Clear Drawings#

Use the new Clear option in the actions menu for selected drawings and animation layers to delete the drawing layers while keeping the drawing structure intact.

New Library Sorting Options#

The contents of the project library can now be sorted by Last Created and Kind in addition to the existing sorting options.

Vector Stroke Fill Gap Visualization#

When you try to fill an open vector region that consists of stroked paths, ToonSquid will now temporarily highlight the paths to help visualize where the remaining gaps are.
